Yuma Metropolitan Planning Organization (YMPO) in cooperation with the Urban Development of San Luis Rio Colorado, Mexico, the Mayors from the Cities of San Luis, Somerton, and Yuma in conjunction with their counterpart Mayors of San Luis, Rio Colorado, Puerto Penasco, Sonoyta, Caborca and Mexicali representatives, held a Regional Forum for the two countries of the United States and Mexico to begin dialogue in bringing the two closer together in areas of transportation and infrastructure, economic development, and tourism industries.
