YMPO Rail/Heavy Freight Corridor Alignment Study
YMPO is now opening the Request for Proposals (RFP) process for the
“YMPO Rail/Heavy Freight Corridor Alignment Study.”
The Yuma Metropolitan Planning Organization (YMPO) is soliciting for the Request for Proposals (RFP) and a proposed approach in written format for professional services to study and publish a preliminary alignment for a possible Rail/Heavy Freight Corridor, through the Yuma metropolitan region from the current Union Pacific railroad alignment to the United States border with Mexico. This project will be managed by YMPO with input from local project stakeholders and the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) and Federal partners.
Submittals will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. (Mountain Standard Time) on May 4, 2021 at the office of YMPO, 230 West Morrison Street, Yuma, Arizona 85364. Submittals received after this timeframe will be rejected and returned to the sender unopened.
